Mrs. Barton is an adjunct instructor at Thiel College sharing her many years of experience working in the mental health and domestic violence fields. Her therapeutic speciality is working with victims of all kinds of abuse, but she has worked with all age groups and all diagnoses.

Educationally, Mrs. Barton graduated from the University of Tennessee with a BS in psychology and from Tennessee Technological University with an MA in Counseling.

She and her husband, Henry, share a love of world travel which adds a unique flavor to classroom lectures as she shares her experiences teaching in Zimbabwe and her observations of life in the third world.
