Education:
BA and MA, Political Science, Oklahoma State University
Ph.D., Political Science, Florida State University

Research Interests:
Dr. Wells has published articles in a variety of professional journals on topics such as the Vietnam war, the Gulf war, military spending in the former Soviet Union, and media coverage of female candidates for political office. Dr. Wells recently co-authored a book published by Palgrave-Macmillan on the topic of the discursive battle over the political and media narratives regarding the Iraq war endgame.

Teaching Interests:
Survey courses on international relations and comparative politics. Advanced courses on American wartime propaganda, the Vietnam War, Western European politics, Third World politics, nationalism, and American hegemony in world politics.
