Phone: 724-589-2099 Chaelon Myme received a B.S. degree with an emphasis in cognitive science from The Evergreen State College in Olympia, Washington and a Ph.D. in neuroscience from Brandeis University in Waltham, Massachusetts. His doctoral work sought to better understand the nature of communication between neurons in the mammalian brain. Prior to Thiel, he worked for several years as a visiting professor in neuroscience at Oberlin College in Ohio. He primarily teaches courses in neuroscience, such as Introduction to Neuroscience, Neuropsychopharmacology, Sensory Neuroscience, and The Neurobiology of Learning and Memory, but has also taught Research Methods in Psychology and other courses as well as advised undergraduate research. |
