I was born in the Russian Far East. Our family moved several times in that region and we lived in several different military settlements (including the one on Chinese border, near the famous Sikhote-Alin natural reserve, where the Russian tigers roam). Then we moved to Belarus, where I had lived before I came to the USA. I traveled  quite a lot in the former ex-Soviet Union countries, including Russia, Ukraine, Abkhasia and also I traveled to Poland, Germany and the Netherlands. I live in Greenville with my husband and 3 bilingual children. I love reading and travelling.
