Professor of English
Dr. DelMaramo joined the Thiel English Department in 1989. He teaches all levels of composition, including freshman, honors and advanced. In addition, Dr. DelMaramo teaches Business and Technical Writing and The History of Western Humanities. He earned his bachelor's degree from Clarion University of Pennsylvania, his M.A. from Gannon University, and his Ph.D. from Bowling Green State University. Currently, Dr. DelMaramo also serves as adviser to the Thiel College Student Government Association. He enjoys reading mystery stories and the books of the English humorist P.G. Wodehouse, playing golf with his friend and colleague Dr. Moinet, and following the ups and downs of his favorite team, the Baltimore Orioles. During the Summer of 2000, Dr. DelMaramo will serve as Summer Director at Camp Notre Dame, a summer camp for kids located outside Erie, PA. His wife Brenda is an adjunct in the English Department; they have two sons, Daniel, age 7, and Nathan, age 4.
