Biography Dr. Cory Grewell, originally from a small ranch town by the name of Silesia, Montana, comes to Thiel by way of Boston, Massachusetts, where he completed a Ph.D. in English at Northeastern University. Dr. Grewell also holds an M.A. in English from California State University, Bakersfield, and a B.A. in English from The Master’s College, in Santa Clarita, California. At Thiel, he teaches Shakespeare, Literary Criticism, Oral and Written Expression, Western Humanities, and Drama Survey. Other literary interests include John Milton, American Noir Detective Fiction, and generally any British literature composed before 1830 or thereabouts. Non-literary interests include good food and wine – he is something of an oenophile – golf, softball, the Boston Red Sox, country and western music, and messing around with his 1980 Royal Knight El Camino. Dr. Grewell resides in Greenville with his wife, Nicole, and his dachshund, Gatsby. |
