Professor DelMaramo received her B.A. in Sociology from Bowling Green State University in 1984, but in her fifth year of undergraduate work found her muse and switched disciplines. In 1986, she received her M.A. in English with a specialization in Rhetoric and Composition, also from B.G.S.U.

She enjoys teaching Basic Writing and Children's Literature, but she also has been known to enjoy camping in her backyard with her family, watching first-grade soccer games and American League baseball, and eating ice cream.
