Biochemistry (BA)
Biochemistry is an interdisciplinary science that studies the structure, composition, and chemical reactions of substances in living systems. The biochemistry major provides students with an opportunity to diversify their education in chemistry and biology, particularly those who plan to apply to medical, dental, veterinary, or pharmacy school. This major will give students planning to attend graduate school a strong foundation in interdisciplinary sciences and prepare students for work in various industries such as pharmaceutical, agricultural chemicals, biotechnology, and consumer products.
