John Rogers '87

Vice President - U.S. Nutrition Inc.

January 25, 2012

John Rogers

"From the moment John Rogers introduced himself and said, '...but don't call me Mr. Rogers, that gets old,' I knew that I was going to like him.  John has an awesome personality and was quite humorous in telling his life story.  I felt like I related to him in many ways."

- Kraig Smith

"One thing John believes in are S.M.A.R.T. Objectives, which he described as: Specific, Measurable, Agreed Upon, Realistic, and Time Based.  He also said that 'communication is key' and you should always 'be brief, be bright, be gone.'"

- Billy Roosa

"At dinner I had a great time.  John Rogers shared some of his experiences he had at Thiel College and gave us a brief description on what he does at his job.  I realized that being involved in marketing and sales will require me to be very competitive and persuasive."

- Avon Milton

"John explained that as a salesman you must know your product and that working in different areas allows you to know the company better.  By showing that you know the company, your input seems more intelligent and the management will notice."

- Michael Roberts
