Fiscal Administrator, Mercer County PA"John Logan spoke about his life and his goals. He began his career as an accountant at Price Waterhouse in 1965. John had many lateral moves before working at PennTecQ in Greenville. John hit a turning point in his life and he decided it was his time to give something back to the community. He was able to meet this calling by taking the position of Fiscal Administrator of Mercer County. He is in charge of setting the policies for the $60 million dollar budget."

"Another issue discussed at the presentation was times change and technology changes. He asked for new inventions now since we, the audience, were children. Many items were mentioned like Microsoft, laptop computers and cell phones. I think the point of this question was to realize that learning is crucial to everyone."
- Shannon Popp, senior accounting & business administration major
"Logan continued to explain that throughout your life you are going to make hard decisions, some of which may be good or bad investments. I thought this was one of the most useful pieces of information that Mr. Logan shared with the class. The information that I acquired from Mr. Logan will continue to benefit me in many years to come."
- Julia Marraccini, senior business administration major
"Mr. Logan is a proud winner of the Loeb award which is given to the individuals who score highest on the CPA exam. It was an honor to meet a man who is so highly thought about at Thiel College."
- Paul Stibich, senior accounting & business administration major
"From Mr. Logan I learned that priorities fill our lives, but we have to distinguish between the importance of each one of them. Even though we may be busy, we can take the time for our first priorities. I think that is important and it was one of the reasons Mr. Logan has the job he has now. Church, community, family, and everything else that we hold important has to hold a place in our lives in order for us to be completely satisfied."
