"Lessons learned were: if you have the opportunity to further your education.... do it. Take the time to learn from your experiences, and take the time to share them with others and listen as others share theirs with you. What goes around comes around. Faith is the substance of things hoped for."

"I asked Dr. Hoffman, 'Is it dangerous providing health care services in a correctional institute?' His answer was that it isn't as dangerous as one might think. When a person is in prison they really have nothing or no one. When they come for medical treatment they really appreciate what we are doing for them and they respect that. They generally don't want to cause problems because we are providing them something that they need."
- Adam Guthrie, junior business administration & mortuary science major
