"I originally came to Thiel College as a business major and scheduled the Drawing I class in the first semester to start getting some of the requirements out of the way. I was never interested or participated in art before college. In that one art class I realized I had a huge passion for art and a desire to explore everything Thiel's art program had to offer me. Now, as a senior and an art major, I couldn't have asked for a better place to have made this personal discovery. The Thiel art department shares the same intense passion for creating — it was almost impossible for it not to rub off. The faculty themselves are amazing artists and pushed me as a student to always make my best work, they taught me everything I know about art and have truly equipped me to go on and make great work. The studio sizes are small giving each student individualized attention and the ability to personalize my college experience which is extremely hard to find."
