CHEM 140 General Chemistry BIO 145 Foundations of Biology AH 105 Taking care of your health CIS 111+112 Word Processing and Spreadsheet For the education major, several education courses must be taken, as described in the Education section of the catalog. In addition to the departmental courses for any major, integrative requirements (IR) and electives must be taken. The IR courses are different for the B.A. and the B.S. degrees. There are fewer IR courses for the B.S. option, however students pursuing the B.S. degree are expected to elect more courses from the sciences. A complete description of additional requirements (IR and electives) is found in the Academic Information section of the catalog.
The requirements for the Physics Minor are: All courses listed below and their prerequisites: PHYS 174 Introductory Physics I (Calc) PHYS 263 Modern Physics PHYS 213 Analog Electronics OR PHYS 243 Digital Electronics OR PHYS 353 Intermediate Lab AND at least one additional course numbered 200 or higher. The student must attain a minimum 2.0 GPA average in the required physics and mathematics courses to qualify for any degree. |
